Pre-Booking Information

Entertainment Licence is restricted to the following hours:
  • Monday to Saturday 2.00pm – 11.30pm
  • Sunday 2.00pm – 10.30pm

This venue is licensed for LIVE music only. NO RECORDED music may be played unless the function is private or the hirer has their own equipment and is licensed to play recorded music.

Alcohol may not be sold on the premises without a valid alcohol licence.

The Bookings Coordinator must be notified in advance if:
  • A charge is to be made on entry, i.e. for dances.
  • A Performing Rights Licence is required.
  • A temporary alcohol licence is to be obtained. It is the hirers responsibility to obtain the licence from the New Forest District Council at Lyndhurst.

Please note, the number of temporary alcohol licences issued each year is restricted by law.

Hire Charges

The War Memorial Hall comprises two halls, a main hall and a small hall. They may be hired individually or as a pair. The Perkins Hall located at a separate site nearby.

Heating and lighting is included in all the charges shown. You are advised to check for latest charges with the Bookings Coordinator at the time of booking.

20% Discount will be given to Parish Residents. Resident, regular, ‘clubs’ receive special rates at the discretion of the Hall Committee.

Additional Charges

Use of Kitchen

Both the War Memorial Hall and Perkins Hall have kitchen facilities available. Facilities are available for preparing and serving light refreshments, tees and coffees etc. Crockery and Cutlery is available but not glasses or cooking utensils.

Weddings

For exclusive use of entire War Memorial Hall building and facilities from 9.00am to 11.30pm – £350
If marquee is to be erected on lawn there will be an additional charge of £160

Available 6.30pm – 11:30 pm. Inclusive of Performing Rights License. Charges by prior arrangement.
