Pre-Booking Information
War Memorial Hall
The maximum capacity of the War Memorial Hall is 200. If persons are seated then the number is reduced
- Main Hall Seating Capacity – 120
- Small Hall Seating Capacity – 30
The Bookings Coordinator must be notified at the time of booking, or at least two weeks in advance if:
- A charge is to be made on entry, i.e. for dances.
- A Performing Rights Licence is required.
- Alcohol is to be sold at the event.
The War Memorial Hall Entertainment Licence is restricted to the following hours:
- Monday to Saturday 2.00pm – 11.30pm
- Sunday 2.00pm – 10.30pm
This venue is licensed for LIVE music only. NO RECORDED music may be played unless the function is private or the hirer has their own equipment and is licensed to play recorded music.
No music is permitted outside of the main building.
Alcohol may not be sold on the premises without obtaining a Temporary Events Notice (TEN)
The hirer must inform the Booking Secretary that a TEN will be required at the time of booking as the number of TENs available each year is limited.
The hirer is responsible for obtaining the TEN licence from NFDC and paying for it.

Perkins Hall
The Perkins Hall is not licensed for entertainment and alcohol may not be sold at these premises.
Hire Charges
The War Memorial Hall comprises two halls, a main hall and a small hall. They may be hired individually or as a pair. The Perkins Hall located at a separate site nearby.

Heating and lighting is included in all the charges shown. You are advised to check for latest charges with the Bookings Coordinator at the time of booking.
A discounted will be given to Parish Residents (shown in brackets in the table above). Resident, regular, ‘clubs’ receive special rates at the discretion of the Hall Committee.
Additional Charges
Use of Kitchen
The War Memorial Hall has one large kitchen serving both Halls. Facilities are available for preparing and serving meals, light refreshments, teas and coffees etc.
The Perkins Hall has limited kitchen facilities suitable for light refreshments only.
Both Halls have Crockery and Cutlery available but not glasses or cooking utensils.

Use of Bouncy Castles in the Hall

Weddings
For exclusive use of entire War Memorial Hall building and facilities from 9.00am to 11.30pm – £400
If marquee is to be erected on lawn there will be an additional charge of £160
Charged or Ticketed Entry Dances etc.
Available 6.30pm – 11:30 pm. Inclusive of Performing Rights License. Charges by prior arrangement.
